Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: December 30, 2025
Welcome to Denison Tree Removal. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (denisontreeremovalct.com) and the tree removal, stump grinding, and related services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Company Information
Denison Tree Removal is a tree service company operating in New London County, Connecticut, and surrounding areas. We are fully insured with $2 million in liability coverage and provide residential, commercial, and emergency tree services.
2. Services
We offer the following services:
- Tree removal (residential and commercial)
- Emergency storm cleanup and 24/7 response
- Stump grinding
- Crane and lift-assisted removal
- Lot clearing
- Hazardous tree removal
All services are performed by trained professionals using proper safety equipment and techniques.
3. Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for all tree work. Estimates are based on visual inspection and information provided by the customer. You will receive a written, all-in price before any work begins—there are no hidden fees. The final price may be adjusted if site conditions differ materially from what was disclosed or observed during the estimate, or if additional work is requested.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation
Once a job is scheduled and confirmed, we allocate crew, equipment, and time to your project. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment availability, or safety concerns. Emergency jobs are prioritized and scheduled as conditions allow.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to commencement of work. Any outstanding balances not paid within 30 days may be subject to collection efforts and associated fees.
6. Property Access and Preparation
You agree to provide clear and safe access to the work area. Please remove vehicles, outdoor furniture, and other personal property from the work zone before our arrival. We use ground protection mats to minimize lawn damage; however, some minor ground disturbance may occur during tree removal operations.
7. Property Protection and Liability
We take every precaution to protect your property during our work. We lay ground mats, use proper rigging techniques, and employ trained climbers and crane operators. If we cause damage to your property during the course of our work, we will repair or compensate for that damage. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors outside our control (such as acts of nature occurring after our work is complete).
8. Insurance
Denison Tree Removal maintains $2 million in general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request. We recommend that property owners maintain their own homeowner’s insurance coverage.
9. Permits
Some municipalities require permits for tree removal, especially for protected trees or trees within certain setback zones. We will advise you if we believe a permit may be required and can assist with the permitting process. However, it is ultimately the property owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations.
10. Debris and Cleanup
Our standard service includes complete cleanup: chipping, hauling away debris, and raking/blowing the work area. We leave your property cleaner than we found it. If you wish to keep logs, wood chips, or firewood, please let us know before work begins.
11. Utility Lines
If trees are near power lines or other utility infrastructure, we will coordinate with the appropriate utility companies as needed. We are not responsible for service interruptions initiated by utility providers. Work near utility lines may require special procedures or scheduling.

16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Denison Tree Removal, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, misrepresentation of property conditions, or failure to disclose relevant information.
17. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to mediation before any legal action is taken.
